DESCRIPTION:Following the success of our first excursion, we are delighted to invite you to the second’s GBA excursion: Kitchen Tour and Inflight Menu Tasting with Qatar Airways Date: Wednesday, 7 September 2022 Time: 9 AM – 12.30 PM Place: Vietnam Airlines Caterers Ltd. – Qatar Airways’ local catering partner – Tan Son Nhat International Airport (See on map) Dress code: Smart Casual Qatar Airways is bringing together the palettes and passion of the world\'s best chefs as part of the offerings of the airline boasting what Skytrax, the international air transport rating organization, called as the “World\'s Best Business Class” and the “Airline of the Year” for a record sixth time in 2021. They have created a unique mixture of tastes and textures, which gives travelers more quality and diversity in the skies than they might ever find on the ground. Each meal is paired with an elite list of wines and champagnes, chosen by Qatar\'s international wine masters, who meet bi-annually in Frankfurt to blind test and select the finest vintages from around the globe. Since the airline’s re-launch in 1997, Qatar Airways has earned many awards and accolades, becoming one of an elite group of airlines worldwide to have been awarded a five-star rating by Skytrax. Together with us, let\'s sneak into the kitchen of Qatar Airways Vietnam for a tour and experience their Business Class lunch menu. Qatar Airways will invite their representative from Doha to present their inflight meals and services to GBA members. Additionally, he will bring some special equipment, indigents, and champagnes from Doha to demonstrate how their customers are actually served on board. Pick-up point: Lobby of Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City, 33 Le Duan Boulevard, District 1 Please be at the pick-up point at 9AM for registration. The bus will departure at 9.30AM sharply Program: 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Gather at the pick-up point 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM: Bus to the catering house 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: A kitchen tour with insightful information from the experts on how meals are prepared on board 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Food tasting with Qatar Airways’ inflight lunch/dinner menu 12:30 PM - 13:00 PM: Back to pick-up point Admission fee: 500,000VND/pax exclusively for GBA members, including transportation fee and lunch.
