Three Perspectives 1. Financial and FX-outlook 2019: Challenges ahead Mr Ulrich Leuchtmann, Chief FX EM Analyst Commerzbank Frankfurt   Mr Ulrich Leuchtmann is the Head of Foreign Exchange Strategy Emerging Markets at the Research Division of Commerzbank AG, Frankfurt Germany’s second biggest lender. Prior to this, he was a Portfolio Manager at Invesco Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH and Fonds für Stiftungen Invesco and its Asset Management Division. Ulrich will give an outlook on the major currencies in 2019 and share his views on possible implications on the world’s main currencies by topics like unregulated Brexit, trade wars and US policies. 2. Macroeconomic outlook Vietnam 2019 Ms Thai Nguyet Minh, Assistant Vice President, Global Markets Corporate Sales, BNP Paribas Ms Minh has joined BNP Paribas in 2010, starting at Singapore Branch and then being with Ho Chi Minh City Branch for more than 5 years. She is now managing a portfolio of more than 200 multinational and local corporates and state-owned enterprises. She leads the automation project to execute deals via various in-house and external electronic platforms, handles weekly USD 200mio foreign exchange volume and constantly explores new opportunities through cross-selling efforts with relationship managers and business groups. Ms Minh will focus on the macroeconomic outlook for Vietnam from the perspective of a financial institution that is one of the biggest lenders in Europe. Ms Minh will also comment on the policy of de-dollarization of the SBV and its consequences and challenges for Vietnamese corporates. 3. Entrepreneurial Challenges in Vietnam 2019 Mr Tri N. Pham, Chairman, Vnexus Capital Advisors Since March 2018 Mr Tri is the Chairman of Vnexus Capital Advisors, an advisory platform in Vietnam with a global network of experts. Their area of expertise ranges from corporate governance/restructuring, corporate finance and banking, M&A, management consulting, legal and tax advisory, public relations to staffing. Prior to that, he used to be the Chief Country Officer/ General Manager of Deutsche Bank Vietnam from 2007 – 2014. Before that, he worked for the World Bank and the IFC in various positions in the USA. After the previous speakers will share their insights based on figures and analysis Mr Tri will more focus on sharing his expertise and experience of many years in International and Vietnamese Financial Institutions and Organizations. Especially for newcomers and companies who are looking into FDI-opportunities in 2019 this is a great opportunity to ask and learn. 4.     Q&A An open Q&A-session with our guests gives you the opportunity to ask and argue. 5.      Introduction of new members Here new members have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their company activities and businesses.
