DESCRIPTION:Dear GBA Members & Friends,  Imagine you have been managing for almost all of your professional life inhouse-projects of your company. Getting resources has been a result of internal negotiation, and you knew how to do it. But one day you perceive a lack of management attention and other resources. You find the solution in procuring resources but as soon as you start to procure resources the world changes rapidly. Can you imagine how this network of suppliers will change your project management? Do you think you will be successful with project management you did all the time? Do you think managing a single isolated inhouse-project is similar to managing a project with external suppliers, sometimes many, and very often you even don’t know the number of actors in this Project Supply Network? We will talk about the mind set to make the “mission success first” happen. We will also talk about training and education that is helpful to support the necessary change in mindset and we talk about the necessary change in management attention and attitudes to successfully supervise and monitor these external projects. We will draw a big picture of what it means, to be in charge for managing a Project Supply Network. Our guest-speaker:   Herbert Gonder is owner and managing director of Gonder Consulting GmbH (www.gonderconsulting.com). He has a graduation as Ms. Sc. Computer Science in 1976. In 2016 Herbert Gonder graduated as a Non-Medical Practitioner in Psychotherapy (Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie) according German law to add Coaching into his professional portfolio. As a lecturer in academic education for project management he is engaged since many years in the preparation for the CAPM® and PMP® certification in various universities. Herbert Gonder is certified PMP (Project Management Professional) and IPMA Senior Project Manager Level B and he has been Assessor for IPMA Level C in Switzerland from 2011 to 2017.
