Dear GBA members, We are delighted to invite you to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2024, where we will review the activities and achievements of the German Business Association (GBA) in 2023 and elect the new members for the GBA Board of Directors 2024. This is a great opportunity for you to network with other GBA members, share your ideas and feedback, and contribute to the future direction of the GBA. The AGM 2024 will be organized in a hybrid format, meaning that you can join either in person or online, depending on your preference and location. The event will take place simultaneously in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with following details: Date: Monday, 29 January 2024 | Time: 5:30PM - 9:30PM

Registration: Participation at the AGM is free of charge for GBA Members, but registration is compulsory. Kindly register your participation with Ms. Mai Anh, Event Manager, at maianh@gba-vietnam.org by 10:00 AM, Monday, 29 January 2024 at the latest, and indicate in which city you would like to attend the meeting. Note: LE Corporate Members can register for up to four (4) participants, SME Corporate Members for up to two (2) participants. We would like to have your attention on some important information regarding the Board Election as follows: > The AGM is for members only. > Members can join the meeting in person or online. > The voting procedure will be online. E-voting access link will be provided to pre-registered Ordinary Members. > Any Ordinary Member who is unable to attend the AGM in person may appoint one Ordinary Member who can join the meeting to act on his/her behalf by way of a proxy and should send the proxy via email maianh@gba-vietnam.org (Ms. Mai Anh) by 1:00 PM, Friday, 26 January 2024 at the latest. > One voting Ordinary Member may hold up to a maximum of five (5) proxies, plus the one deriving from her/his own membership. > Election will strictly follow the statutes of the German Business Association in compliance with Article 6 6.1 Each Company Representative of an Ordinary Corporate Member and each Ordinary Individual Member shall be entitled to one vote at GERMAN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION Meetings and to serve on the Board. 6.2 Neither Associate Members, Honorary Members or Mini Members shall be entitled to vote at GERMAN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION Meetings or to serve on the Board. > The proxy form is attached herewith and can be found online here According to Article 8.2 (e) in the GBA statutes, please notify in writing your proposals, suggestions, or amendments at least seven (7) days prior to the meeting.
